The Effect of Flexibility of Working Hours, Professional Recognition, and Social Values toward Career Selection as an Educator Accountant (Study on Accounting Students at the Best Private Universities in Makassar), supervised by Indrawan Azis and Karlina Ghazalah Rahman. This study aims to analyze the interest of accounting students in Makassar to become teaching accountants.This research will examine the variables of flexibility of working hours, professional recognition, and social values. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study were accounting students at the Best Private Universities (PTS) in Makassar starting from third semester students (three) and above. The data collection method used a questionnaire. There were 115 respondents from the five Best Private Universities (PTS) in Makassar who were used for this research. In accordance with the results of the test data using the T test (independent test), it shows that partially the variable working hours flexibility is negative and not significant to the career choice as an educating accountant. Meanwhile, the variables of professional recognition and social values have a positive and significant value on career choices as educational accountants. Simultaneously, the results of this study indicate that the independent variable is able to explain the dependent variable. The independent variable has a significant effect on the dependent variable simultaneously.
