This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of service quality dimensions (tangible dimensions, empathy dimensions, reliability dimensions, responsiveness dimensions and assurance dimensions) on community satisfaction in Pattingaloang Baru Village, Ujung Tanah District, Makassar City. This study uses a descriptive-quantitative approach with a causal correlational type. The population used in this study were all people who received services during the study period (January-February 2021) in Pattingaloang Baru Village. The sampling technique was determined by purposive sampling of 100 people. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS 25.00.
The results showed that of the five dimensions of service quality, only 3 dimensions, namely the tangible dimension, the empathy dimension and the assurance dimension had a partially significant positive effect on community satisfaction, while the other two dimensions, namely the reliability dimension and the responsiveness dimension, had no significant effect on community satisfaction. Simultaneously, these five dimensions have a significant positive effect on community satisfaction in Pattingaloang Baru Village, Ujung Tanah District, Makassar City.
