This study aims to determine and analyze (1) the influence of leadership style and work motivation on the performance of the Civil Service Officials (ASN) of the Regional Revenue Agency of Gowa Regency through job satisfaction as an intervening variable (2) direct and indirect influence on employee performance.
This research approach uses quantitative research with survey methods. The research was conducted at the Regional Revenue Agency office of Gowa Regency. When the research was conducted starting in July 2020. The study population was all 60 employees of the Regional Revenue Agency of Gowa Regency. The sample selection in this study was carried out using a saturated sampling method (census) by determining all populations as a total sample of 60 employees.
The results showed that (1) partially, leadership style and work motivation had a significant effect on job satisfaction. Partially leadership style and work motivation have a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, leadership style and work motivation have a significant effect on job satisfaction (2) Leadership style through job satisfaction indirectly has no significant effect on performance and work motivation has an indirect effect on employee performance through job satisfaction.
