dc.description.abstract Widya Puspita Sari 2021. The Effect of Work Discipline, Compensation and Work Environment on Employee Performance at the Social Service Office of the Selayar Islands Regency, supervised by Prof. Dr. Nurdin Brasit, S.E., M.Si. and Dr. H. Muh. Said, M.M. This study aims to determine the relationship and effect of the three independent variables, namely work discipline, compensation and work environment toward one dependent variable, namely employee performance both partially and simultaneously and to identify the most dominant effect variable. In this study, the sampling technique used a saturated sample with 60 respondents who were permanent employees of the Selayar Islands Regency Social Service. Data was collected through direct observation and surveys by distributing questionnaires to respondents. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis method. The results showed that only the work discipline variable has a positive and significant effect toward the employee performance at the Social Service Office of Selayar Islands Regency, while the compensation and work environment variables had no significant effect. The simultaneous test results show that the three variables have a positive effect simultaneously on employee performance. Based on the regression coefficient, the dominant variable that affects performance is work discipline. en_US
