This research is a quantitative study using a questionnaire as a means of collecting
research data. This study aims to determine the influence of competence, motivation, and work environment on service quality in the scope of the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlement Areas of Takalar Regency.
The population used in this study were all employees at the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlement Office of Takalar Regency as many as 91 people. While the research sample is determined based on the determination of saturated samples. The data analysis method used to analyze the research data is multiple linear regression analysis.
The findings of this study are (1) Competence, motivation, and work environment have a positive and partially significant effect on the service quality of employees in the scope of the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlement Areas of Takalar Regency. (2) Competence, motivation, and work environment have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on the quality of service for employees in the scope of the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlement Areas of Takalar Regency. (3) The work environment is the most dominant variable affecting the quality of services in the scope of the Public Works, Spatial Planning, Housing and Settlement Areas of Takalar Regency.
