Guided by Sylvia Sjarlis and Abdul Rahman Abdi. This research is a quantitative study that aims to analyze the effect of communication, performance assessment and work interest on career development in the Department of Empowerment of Women, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning, Selayar Islands Regency. The population in this study amounted to 30 people. Determination of the sample using a saturated sample technique. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) Communication, performance appraisal, and work interest had a positive and partially significant effect on career development at the Women Empowerment Service for Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning, Selayar Islands Regency. (2) Communication, performance appraisal, and work interest have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on career development at the Women Empowerment Service for Child Protection for Population Control and Family Planning, Selayar Islands Regency. (3) Performance appraisal is the most dominant variable affecting career development at the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection for Population Control and Family Planning, Selayar Islands Regency. en_US
