This study aims to determine (1) the effect of professional skills, task complexity, and integrity partially and simultaneously (2) the most dominant variable affects the effectiveness of holding general elections in Barru Regency.
The study was conducted at the Adhoc Board for General Election in Barru Regency in 2019. The results show that it is partially proven that professional skills affect the effectiveness of general elections in Barru Regency.
This study also proves that simultaneously professional skills, task complexity and integrity affect the effectiveness of the general election in Barru Regency. The professional skill variable is the most dominant variable affecting the effectiveness of general elections in Barru Regency. This study produces a coefficient of determination of 82.3%, meaning that this study is able to explain the effectiveness of the general election of 82.3% which is influenced by professional skills, task complexity and integrity, while 17.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
