The study aims to determine and analyze: 1) the direct influence of organizational competence and culture on employee work motivation in the Pangkajene District Office, Pangkep Regency, 2) the direct influence of organizational competence and culture on employee performance in the Pangkajene District Office, Pangkep Regency, and 3) the indirect effect competence and organizational culture on performance through employee work motivation at the Pangkajene District Office, Pangkep Regency
This research design uses survey research. The research location was in the Pangkajene Subdistrict Office, Pangkep Regency. The study was conducted in October to November 2019. The population in this study included all employees of the Pangkajene District Office, Pangkep Regency with a total of 42 people. Sampling of this study was carried out using a saturated sampling technique (census), which determined the entire population to be sampled as many as 42 employees of the Pangkajene District Office in Pangkep Regency. The data analysis technique used is path analysis.
The results showed that: 1) there was a positive and significant direct effect on
competence and organizational culture on employee motivation at the Pangkajene
District Office, Pangkep Regency, 2) there was a positive and significant direct effect
on organizational competence and culture on employee performance at the Pangkajene
District Office Pangkep, and 3) there is an indirect and significant positive effect on
competence and organizational culture on performance through employee work motivation at Pangkajene District Office, Pangkep Regency
