dc.description.abstract Nur Annisa Harbi. 2020. The Effect of Rewards and Punishment toward the Employee Performance through Work Ethic at PT Mandiri Utama Finance, supervised by Syamsul Alam and Mukhtar Hamzah. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Rewards and Punishment on Employee Performance through Work Ethics at PT Mandiri Utama Finance. This research approach uses quantitative research. The research was conducted at PT Mandiri Utama Finance. When the research was conducted startingin August 2020. The study population was all employees of PT Mandiri Utama Finance, totaling 94 people. The sample selection for this study was conducted in a Saturated manner (Saturated Sample), namely the entire population sampled. Respondent criteria specified in this study are respondents who are currently workingat PT. Mandiri Utama Finance which is an employee. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is an effect of reward on employee performance (2) there is an effect of punishment on employee performance (3) there is an effect of reward on work ethic (4) there is an effect of punishment on work ethic (5) there is an effect of work ethic on performance employees (6) there is an effect of reward on employee performance through work ethic (7) there is an effect of punishment on employee performance through work ethic. en_US
