dc.description.abstract Supriadi, 2020. The Influence of Work Ethics and Organizational Support on Employee Performance through the role of Employee Innovation Capability as an Intervening Variable at the Selayar Islands District Youth and Sports Service, supervised by Masdar Mas'ud and Anshar Daud. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work ethic and organizational support on employee performance mediated by the employee innovation capability variable at the Department of Youth and Sports, Selayar Islands Regency. This research includes confirmatory research. This research is categorized as a survey research, where the research instrument is a questionnaire. The sample in this study took the entire population of employees at the Youth and Sports Office of the Selayar Islands Regency, amounting to 60 people. The data were collected by means of a questionnaire and the validity and reliability were tested. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression and single test for the mediating variables. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is a positive and significant influence between work ethic on employee performance (2) organizational support has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (3) there is a positive and significant influence between employee innovation capabilities on employee performance (4) ethos work has a positive and significant effect on employee innovation capabilities (5) organizational support has a positive and significant effect on employee innovation capabilities (6) employee innovation capabilities are able to mediate the relationship between work ethics and employee performance (7) employee innovation capabilities are able to mediate the relationship between organizational support and the performance of the employees of the Selayar Islands District Youth and Sports Office. en_US
