dc.description.abstract Yasir M.D. 2021. The Effect of Leadership, Competence and Organizational Culture on Employee Performance at the Merchant Marine Polytechnic in Makassar, supervised by Muhammad Idris and Asri. This study aims to analyze (1) the partial effect of leadership, competence and organizational culture on employee performance at the Merchant Marine Polytechnic (2) the simultaneous effect of leadership, competence and organizational culture on employee performance at the Merchant Marine Polytechnic (3) the most dominant effect on the Employee Performance of Merchant Marine Polytechnic. The determination of the sample in this study uses Arikunto's opinion in Saban Echdar (2017) that if the number of subjects is large (greater than 100), then it can be taken between 10-15% or 20-55%, or more depending on a little of the ability of the researcher is seen of time, effort and funds. Based on this opinion, the sample of this study was determined to be 30% x 180 population = 54 employees. The data collection methods used were questionnaires and document studies. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study conclude that (1) partially Leadership, Competence and Organizational Culture have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at Merchant Marine Polytechnic. This means that Leadership, Competence and Organizational Culture will improve Employee Performance (2) simultaneously Leadership, Competence and Organizational Culture has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Merchant Marine Polytechnic (3) partially shows that the leadership variable has a dominant influence on performance, this indicates that the better the leadership the better the employee performance at the Merchant Marine Polytechnic. en_US
