The Effect of Training and Development and Job Promotion toward the Employee Performance at the Library and Archives Office in Barru Regency, supervised by Ahmad Firman and Syilvia Sjarlis. This study aims to (1) analyze the effect of training and development as well as promotion partially toward the employee performance at the Library and Archives Office in Barru Regency (2) analyze the effect of training and development and promotion simultaneously toward the employee performance at the Library and Archives Office in Barru Regency (3) analyze the most dominant variable affects the employee performance at the Library and Archives Office in Barru Regency. This study used a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 33 employees at the Library and Archives Office. The sample was determined by a saturated sampling technique and multiple linear regression for data analysis techniques. The results show that (1) training and development have a positive and significant effect toward the employee performance at the Library and Archives Office in Barru Regency (2) promotion has a positive and significant effect toward the employee performance at the Library and Archives Office in Barru Regency (3) training and development and job promotion simultaneously have a positive and significant effect toward the employee performance at the Library and Archives Office in Barru Regency. en_US
