dc.description.abstract HASYIM. 2021. The Influence of Principal Leadership, Supervisory Supervision and Motivation on the Quality of Teachers of State Junior High Schools in Gantarangkeke District, Bantaeng Regency. (supervised by H. Mashur Razak and Hj. Fatmasari) The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) To determine and analyze the effect of principal leadership on teacher quality; 2) To find out and analyze the effect of supervisor supervision on teacher quality; 3) To determine and analyze the influence of motivation on teacher quality; 4) To find out and analyze the leadership of the principal, supervisor supervision and motivation to simultaneously influence the quality of teachers; and 5) To find out and analyze the most dominant variables affecting the quality of teachers. This research is a quantitative research, drawing conclusions through statistical analysis. The research is located in SMP Negeri all Gantarangkeke District, Bantaeng Regency. The population and sample in this study were all civil servants totaling 42 people. Methods of data collection using documentation and questionnaires. Test the validity of the research instrument using the Product moment correlation formula and the reliability test using the Cronbach Alpha formula. Prior to data analysis, prerequisite testing was conducted, which included the normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis techniques at a significance level of 0.05. The results of this study indicate that: 1) leadership has a negative and partially significant effect on teacher quality, 2) supervision has a positive and partially significant effect on teacher quality, 3) motivation has a positive and partially significant effect on teacher quality, 4) leadership, supervision, and motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on teacher quality 5) Which has the greatest positive influence on teacher quality is the motivation variable. Overall leadership, supervision and motivation have a positive effect on teacher quality. en_US
