This study aims to test and analyze (1) the effect of leadership, training, and compensation partially toward the work motivation of personnel at the Traffic Directorate of the Regional Police (Polda) in South Sulawesi (2) the effect of leadership, training, and compensation simultaneously toward the work motivation of personnel at the Traffic Directorate of Polda Sulawesi Selatan (3) the most dominant variable affecting the work motivation of personnel at the Traffic Directorate of Polda Sulawesi Selatan.
This research was conducted at the South Sulawesi Police Traffic Directorate. Sampling in this study is to use the Slovin sampling technique, in order to obtain a sample of 160 employees. The data collection methods used were questionnaires and document studies. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.
The results of the study conclude that (1) partially, leadership, compensation, and training has a positive and significant effect toward the work motivation at the Traffic Directorate of the South Sulawesi Police. This means that increased leadership, compensation, and training will encourage employee motivation to work more optimally (2) simultaneously shows that leadership (X1), compensation (X2), and training (X3) variables affect employee work motivation (Y) which means that increased leadership, compensation, and training will increase work motivation (3) partially showing that leadership is a variable that
has a dominant influence on employee work motivation, this shows that the better
the way to lead, the more work motivation of the personnel at the Traffic Directorate will increase in South Sulawesi Regional Police.
