Muammar. 2020. The Effect of Human Resource Development, Motivation, and Discipline toward the Personnel Performance of the Police Traffic Directorate of South Sulawesi, supervised by Muhammad Idris and H. Saripuddin D.
This study aims to (1) partially analyze the effect of human resource development, motivation and discipline on the performance of the South Sulawesi Police Traffic Directorate (2) simultaneously the effect of human resource development, motivation and discipline on the performance of the Sulawesi Police Traffic Directorate Personnel. South (3) the most dominant variable influencing the performance of the personnel of the Traffic Directorate of the South Sulawesi Police.
This research was conducted at the South Sulawesi Police Traffic Directorate. Determination of the sample using random sampling technique, namely simple random
sampling and obtained a sample of 72 personnel of the South Sulawesi Regional Police
Directorate. The data collection methods used were questionnaires and document
studies. The analytical method used is descriptive statistical analysis and multiple
linear regression analysis.
The results of the study concluded that (1) partially, human resource development, motivation and discipline have a positive and significant effect on the personnel performance of the Traffic Directorate of the South Sulawesi Regional Police. This means that increasing human resource development, motivation and discipline will improve employee performance (2) simultaneously indicating that the variables of human resource development (X1), motivation (X2), and discipline (X3) have an effect on employee performance (Y) which means that an increase in human resource development, motivation and discipline will affect the increase in employee performance by 94.5% (3) partially indicating that the human resource development variable has a dominant effect on performance, this shows that the more often employees attend education and training, the more personnel performance increases.
