BUSTAN, The Influence of Competence, Discipline and Job Satisfaction on Employee
Performance in the Office of the Civil Service Police Unit of Barru Regency. Supervised
by Maryadi and DeddyRahwandi Rahim.
This study aims (1) To determine the effect of competence, discipline and job satisfaction
partially on employee performance at the Satpol PP Office of Barru Regency. (2)
Knowing the effect of competence, discipline and job satisfaction simultaneously on
employee performance at the Satpol PP Office of Barru Regency. (3) Analyze the most
dominant variable affecting the performance of employees at the Satpol PP Office of
Barru Regency.
This study used a quantitative approach with 52 respondents to all employees using data
collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews and document review.
The results showed that; (1) There is a positive and significant effect of competence,
discipline and job satisfaction partially on the performance of Satpol PP employees in
Barru Regency, the results of the t test by looking at the significance value <0.05, which
means that H0 is rejected, Ha is accepted. This means that both the competency, work
discipline and job satisfaction variables have a positive and significant influence on the
performance of Satpol PP employees in Barru Regency. (2) There is a positive and
significant effect of competence, discipline and job satisfaction simultaneously on the
performance of Satpol PP employees in Barru Regency, where the F significance value is
0.00 <0.05. This means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so that competence,
discipline and job satisfaction simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the
performance of Satpol PP employees in Barru Regency. (3) Job satisfaction variable that
has the most dominant influence on the performance of Satpol PP employees in Barru
Regency is seen from the value of the largest regression coefficient, which is 0.590 with a
significance of 0.00. |
