Muhammad Irfan. 2020. The Effect of Principal Leadership, Achievement Motivation and Compensation on the Discipline of SMPN Teachers in Banggae Timur District, Majene Regency (supervised by H. Saban Echdar and Maryadi)
The study aims to determine and analyze the influence of school principal leadership,
achievement motivation and partial and simultaneous compensation for the discipline of junior high school teachers in Banggae Timur District, Majene Regency, and the most dominant variable influencing the discipline of SMPN teachers in Banggae Timur District Majene Regency.
This research uses a quantitative approach with ex post facto design. The population
in this study included all SMPN teachers in East Banggae Subdistrict, Majene Regency totaling 135 teachers. The sample was determined by cluster random sampling technique, using the Slovin formula, so that the number of samples used in this study were 57 SMPN teachers in East Banggae District, Majene Regency. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analysis (multiple regression analysis), using the simultaneous singnification test (F-Test), partial verification test (T-Test).
The results showed that the leadership of school principals, achievement motivation
and partial and simultaneous compensation had a positive and significant effect on
the discipline of junior high school teachers in Banggae Timur Subdistrict, Majene Regency, as well as the school principal leadership variable which was the most
dominant influence on the discipline of SMPN teachers in Banggae Timur District
