The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership, compensation and work motivation on employee performance at the Bantaeng District Education and Culture Office partially and simultaneously.
The research data was obtained through a survey of all employees in the Bantaeng Regency Education and Culture Office, totaling 80 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale which was distributed to all research respondents. Data analysis used simple linear regression and multiple linear regression with SPSS 26 software.
The results of this study show that partially leadership does not have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Education and Culture Office of Bantaeng Regency. Compensation and Work Motivation that have a positive and
significant effect on employee performance at the Bantaeng Regency Education and
Culture Office. Simultaneously, it shows that the variables of leadership, compensation and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees at the Education and Culture Office of Bantaeng Regency.
The author's suggestion is that it is hoped that employees at the Education and Culture
Office will improve their leadership even though it does not affect performance, as well
as compensation and work motivation of their employees.
