Abstract:
Winarno. 2021. The Influence of Motivation and Work environment through job satisfaction on the Employee Performance at Laboratory and simulatory unit Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar (guided by Saban Echdar and Syafruddin Kitta).
This study aims to determine and analyze: (1) the influence of motivation and Work
Environment partially on job satifaction at Laboratory and simulatory unit Politeknik
Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar (2) the influence of motivation, work environment and job
satisfaction partially on the employees performance at Laboratory and simulatory unit
Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar (3) the direct and indirect influence of motivation
through job satisfaction on the employees performance at Laboratory and simulatory unit
Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar (4) the direct and indirect influence of work environment through job satisfaction on the employees performance at Laboratory and
simulatory unit Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar.
This research approach is a quantitative approach. The research was conducted on
the employees at Laboratory and simulatory unit Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar
and was conducted from April to may 2021. The research population is all employees at
Laboratory and simulatory unit Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar which amounts to
86 people. The selection of samples in this study was conducted using saturated sampling
method by determining all populations as a total sample of 86 employees. The analysis
technique used is Path analysis.
The results showed that:1)There is a positive and significant influence of motivation and work environment partially on job satisfaction at Laboratory and simulatory unit Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar (2) There is a positive and significant influence motivation, work environment and job satisfaction partially on the employees performance at Laboratory and simulatory unit Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar (3) motivation through job satisfaction has a direct and significant influence on the employees performance at Laboratory and simulatory unit Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar (4) work environment through job satisfaction has a direct influence on the employees performance at Laboratory and simulatory unit Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Makassar
