This study aims to determine and analyze the Transformational Leadership Style and Competence toward Teacher Performance Improvement in SMPN. 7 Pasimasunggu, Selayar Islands Regency.
This research approach uses quantitative research. The research was conducted at SMPN. 7 Pasimasunggu, Selayar Islands Regency in June 2021. The research population was all teachers at SMPN. 7 Pasimasunggu Selayar Islands Regency as many as 35 people. The sample selection in this study was carried out using a saturated sampling technique so that the sample used in this study was 35 teachers.
The results show that (1) there is a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership style partially on improving teacher performance in SMPN. 7 Pasimasunggu, Selayar Islands Regency (2) there is a positive and significant effect of partial competence on improving teacher performance at SMPN. 7 Pasimasunggu, Selayar Islands Regency (3) there is a simultaneous effect of transformational leadership style and competence on improving teacher performance in SMPN. 7 Pasimasunggu, Selayar Islands Regency. Based on the study results, the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.771 or (77.1%). This shows that a 77.1% Increase in teacher performance is influenced by transformational leadership style and competence. In contrast, 22.9% is influenced by other variables that are not included in this research model. |
