This study aims to (1) examine and analyze the effect of principal leadership on teacher performance at SMKN 6 Makassar (2) To study and analyze the effect of teacher ability on teacher performance at SMKN 6 Makassar (3) to examine and analyze the effect of teacher discipline on teacher performance at SMKN 6 Makassar (4) to examine and analyze the influence of principal leadership, teacher ability, and teacher discipline. together on the performance of teachers at SMKN 6 Makassar (5) studied and analyzed the variables of principal leadership, teacher ability, and teacher discipline that had the most influence on student-teacher performance at SMKN 6 Makassar.
This study was conducted at SMK Negeri 6 Makassar with a sample of 80 people. The data collection methods used were (1) observation and data collection techniques by giving a set of questions or written statements to respondents to be answered related to leadership, teacher ability, and discipline (2) questionnaire with the measurement scale used was the Likert scale 1-5 then managed and presented descriptively to be able to describe the research results.
The results of this study are (1) leadership has a positive but not significant effect on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 6 Makassar (2) teacher ability has a significant positive effect on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 6 (3) discipline has a significant positive effect on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 6 Makassar (3) leadership, teacher ability and discipline have a positive and simultaneous effect on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 6 Makassar (4) teacher ability is the most dominant variable on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 6 Makassar.
