This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work ethic, work discipline and work environment partially and simultaneously on the work motivation of the janitor at the Environmental Service Office (DLH) of Parepare City.
The type of research used is quantitative research. The data collection technique used is by using research instruments. The population in this study were all janitors at the Environmental Service (DLH) of Parepare City, amounting to 388 people. The sample is part or representative of the population to be studied.
Researchers took research samples using random sampling as many as 40 people.
The results of this study indicate that the results of the F test or simultaneous testing show that the Fcount value is 39.194 and Ftable is 2.85. So it shows that Fcount > Ftable with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. These results indicate that the independent variables simultaneously work ethic, work discipline and work environment have a significant influence on the work motivation of janitors at the Environmental Service (DLH) of Parepare City. From the description of the test with the three independent variables partially work ethic, work discipline and work environment have a significant influence on the work motivation of janitors at the Environmental Service (DLH) of Parepare City. In this study, it was found that among work ethic, work discipline and work environment, work discipline variable is the variable that has the most dominant influence on the work motivation of janitors at the Environmental Service (DLH) of Parepare City.
