This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of human resource competence, work motivation and training, both partially and simultaneously and the dominant variables affecting the work productivity of employees at the Regional Secretariat Office of Pinrang Regency. This research is a quantitative research with the type of research used is explanatory research. The population used in this study were 147 employees of the Regional Secretariat of Pinrang Regency. Sampling in this study was 35%, namely as many as 51 people who were determined by simple random.
The results showed that (1) work motivation and training had a partial effect on employee work productivity, while HR competency had no partial effect on employee work productivity; (2) HR competence, work motivation and education and training have a simultaneous effect on employee work productivity and work motivation has a dominant effect on employee work productivity at the Regional Secretariat Office of Pinrang Regency.
