And The Effectiveness Of The School Operational Assistance Program (BOS) On
Teacher Performance In The Cluster Of Elementary School Inpres Ujung
Katinting Kec. Pa' Jukukang Kab. Bantaeng, mentored by Sylvia Sjarlis and Asri.
This study aims to (1) determine and analyze the Principal's Leadership Style,
Work Environment, and Effectiveness of School Operational Fund Assistance
(BOS) Partially Affect Teacher Performance. (2) To find out and analyze the
Principal's Leadership, Environment, and Effectiveness of School Operational
Funds (BOS) simultaneously affect teacher performance. (3) To know and analyze
which one has the most dominant influence on teacher performance.
The research data was obtained through a survey of all teachers in the Ujung
Katinting Elementary School Cluster, Pa'jukukang District, Bantaeng Regency,
which amounted to 61 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire with a
Likert scale which was distributed to all research respondents. Data analysis used
multiple linear regression with SPSS 26 software.
The results of this study indicate that (1) Based on the results of the
study, it is proven that the principal's leadership and the effectiveness of the BOS
program affect the performance of teachers in the Ujung Katinting Elementary
School Cluster, Pa'jukukang District, Bantaeng Regency. While the work
environment does not affect the performance of teachers in the Inpres Ujung
Katinting Elementary School Cluster, Pa'jukukang District, Bantaeng Regency
(2). Inpres Ujung katinting Pa'jukukang District, Bantaeng Regency (3) Based on
the results of the study, it can be concluded that partially shows that the most
dominant variable affecting teacher performance (Y) is the effectiveness of the
BOS program. The author hopes that (1) the principal as a leader should have
good human relations skills with all school members so that all school members
feel valued which has an impact on their productivity at work, especially for
teachers and education staff. (2) The work environment is an institution that has
an important role in the lives of students, because the school is the second place
besides the family in the formation of children's character and personality. So it
needs more attention. (3) BOS funds are indeed very helpful in accelerating the
completion of compulsory education. In the context of implementing the
implementation of SBM in schools, BOS funds are expected to be managed in a
transparent and accountable manner.
