Syafaruddin. 2021. The Influence of the Principal's Exemplary Attitude, the
Giving of Rewards and Teacher Work Discipline on the Competency Standards of
Graduates in the Inpres Elementary Cluster Ujung Katinting, Bantaeng Regency

This study aims to determine: the influence of exemplary attitudes, reward giving
and teacher work discipline partially and simultaneously and the most dominant
variables that influence the competency standards of graduates in the cluster of
SD Inpres Ujung Katinting, Pajukukang District, Bantaeng Regency.
This research approach uses survey research. The research was conducted at the
cluster of SD Inpres Ujung Katinting, Bantaeng Regency. When the research was
conducted starting in January 2020. The study population was all teachers in the
cluster of SD Inpres Ujung Katinting, Bantaeng Regency, totaling 131 people. The
sample selection in this study was carried out using the Slovin formula (Steph
Ellen, 2010) with a significance level of 10%, namely by determining all
populations as a total sample of 57 teachers..
The results showed that: 1) There was a positive and significant effect of
exemplary attitude of the principal individually (partially) on the competency
standards of graduates in the cluster of SD Inpres Ujung Katinting, Bantaeng
Regency, with t-count = 4.063 and 4.063> t-table = 0.2654 . Reject H0, Accept
H1. so that the exemplary attitude of the principal has a significant effect on the
competency standards of graduates in the cluster of SD Inpres Ujung Katinting,
Bantaeng Regency. 2) There is a positive and significant effect of giving rewards
together (simultaneously) on the competency standards of graduates, where FCalculate
= 65.657> F-Table = 2.77. Reject H0, Accept H1, so that exemplary
attitude, rewarding and work discipline have a significant effect on the
competency standards of graduates in the cluster of SD Inpres Ujung Katinting,
Bantaeng Regency. 3) The most dominant role model variable towards the
competency standard of graduates is seen from the value of the highest
Standardized Coefficients, namely 0.577..
This study resulted in a determination coefficient of 78.8% meaning that this study
was able to explain the pass rate of 78.8% which was influenced by exemplary
attitudes, reward giving and work discipline while 21.2% was influenced by other
variables not examined in this study. |
