This study aims to analyze the positive and significant effect of workability, work
motivation, and work facilities on employee performance and to analyze the most
dominant variables that have an influence on employee performance.
This research was conducted at the Social Service of the Selayar Islands Regency,
South Sulawesi Province with a sample of 80 respondents who are employees of the
Selayar Islands Regency Social Service. Data collected by questionnaires that have been
tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression
analysis and the T-test, F-test and the coefficient of determination.
The results of this study indicate that (1). There is no positive and insignificant
effect between work ability on performance (2) there is no positive and insignificant effect
between work motivation and performance (3) there is a positive and significant effect
between work facilities on performance (4) workability, work motivation and facilities
simultaneously affect performance (5) Work facilities have the most dominant influence
on employee performance. Based on this research, the managerial implications that can
be recommended are that performance improvements can be achieved by further
improving adequate, comfortable and conducive work facilities and providing motivation
to employees to continue to be carried out by the leadership in improving employee work
abilities.
