This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of e-government
implementation, competence, and work discipline on the performance of ASN at
the Makassar City Communication and Information Office.
Quantitative research was used in this study, which was conducted at the
Makassar City Communication and Information Office in June-July 2021. The
population and sample in this study amounted to 80 respondents, and all of them
were employees of the Makassar City Communication and Information Office.
The results showed that: 1) The implementation of E-Government,
Competence, and Work Discipline had a joint or simultaneous effect on ASN
Performance Improvement at the Makassar City Communication and Information
Office with a calculated F value of = 86,746 greater than the F table (86.746 > 2.72).
2) Implementation of e-Government has a positive and significant effect on
improving the performance of ASN at the Makassar City Communication and
Information Office. 3) Competence has a positive and significant effect on
improving ASN performance at the Makassar City Communication and Information
Office. 4) Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on increasing ASN
performance at the Makassar City Communication and Information Office. 5) The
independent variable which has a greater influence on the dependent variable is the
implementation of e-Government with a t value of 7.658
