This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of competence, work
environment, and motivation on improving teacher performance at SMK Negeri 1
Selayar.
This study approach uses a quantitative approach which was applied at
SMK Negeri 1 Selayar in January 2021. The population in this study were all 37
teachers with civil servant status (PNS). The sample selection in this study used
the Saturated Sampling method, namely by determining all populations and
serving as samples with a total of 37 employees.
The results show that there is no increase in teacher performance when
using competence as a measure but there is an increase in teacher performance
when using the work environment and motivation as a measure. In general, all the
analyzes used on improving teacher performance have a positive effect, this can
be seen from all teacher activities and teacher enthusiasm in improving teacher
performance at SMK Negeri 1 Selayar.
