Abstract:

Work Environment towards the Performance of Civil Service Police Units and
Firefighters in West Sulawesi Province, supervised by Muhammad Idris and

This study aims to determine and analyze (1) the partial effect of
leadership style, work discipline, and work environment on employee
performance at the Civil Service Police and Fire Department offices of West
Sulawesi Province (2) the simultaneous effect of leadership style, work discipline,
and work environment toward the performance of employees at the Civil Service
Police Unit and the West Sulawesi Fire Department (3) the most dominant factor
affects the performance of employees at the Civil Service Police and Fire
Department offices in West Sulawesi Province.
This research is quantitative research with survey methods and
correlational analysis techniques to determine the relationship between the
dependent and independent variables. Data collection methods used are
questionnaires and document studies. The analytical method used is descriptive
statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.
The results show that (1) partially the leadership style variable has a
dominant effect on employee performance (2) partially the discipline variable
affected employee performance (3) partially the work environment variable
affected employee performance (4) simultaneously the leadership style variable,
discipline, and the work environment affects employee performance with a
percentage value of 96.4%
